Shape the build
Beta feedback drives the roadmap. The features you ask for are the features that ship.
First in line
You'll have Sash before public launch. Use it to set up your Mac the way you want it.
Common questions.
What does the private beta include?
Accepted beta users get the full Sash app — every Pro feature included — and a 100% off coupon code that activates a real Pro license at $0. The license is yours to keep. No card required, no auto-charge, no time limit. We email accepted users a download link and the code manually as we open up slots.
Why a beta? When does it open up?
We're letting people in slowly to keep the feedback signal high and to find rough edges before charging anyone. We don't have a public-launch date yet — accepted beta users will know first.
How is Sash different from other window managers?
Most Mac window managers handle the basics — halves, top/bottom, maximize. Sash covers that for free, then adds Snap Assist (pick the next window for the empty zone after a snap), Snap Groups (alt-tab in and out of two snapped windows as one, resize both with a single divider), and a real Alt-Tab with window thumbnails instead of app icons.
Is this a subscription?
No. Sash is a one-time purchase after public launch. Beta users get a free Pro license forever.
Does Sash work offline?
Yes. Sash runs entirely on your Mac. The only network calls are to activate your license once and to check for updates.
Is Sash on the Mac App Store?
No. Sash ships directly so it can use the macOS APIs the App Store sandbox restricts. It's signed and notarized by Apple.
